Model Style: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Although Rosie Huntington-Whitely has been branded by the UK press as the “next Kate Moss,” our muse for this month’s edition of Model Style is quickly proving that she can pave her own way in the fashion world. With several modeling accolades under her belt, our stylish muse is happy to make a name for herself.
Despite her success, Rosie never set out to be a model and her start in the modeling industry came about purely by chance. In 2003 she arrived at Profile, a London modeling agency, to begin work experience as a booker. She was immediately signed up by the agency and the work started to flood in. Before long, she was in Teen Vogue and Vogue Nippon.
Since that day, her star has only risen further and Rosie has worked with designers like Ralph Lauren and BCBG Max Azria. Earlier this year she was named Model of the Year at the 2009 Elle Style Awards and this week she was named as one of five new Victoria’s Secret Angels.
Though it is safe to say that Rosie has access to some of the world’s best fashion designers, there is no amount of free clothes that can make you stylish. For Rosie, that just comes naturally. From skinny jeans to thigh-skimming mini dresses, each outfit is a master class in knowing what works for your body (although it doesn’t hurt to have a body like Rosie’s to work with).

Although there are elements of bohemian-luxe in Rosie’s style, overall it seems that she stays away from prints and instead, opts for clothes that have a rocker-chic feel to them.
